Design System Engineer (12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract)

About the role

As a Design System Engineer you will own the evolution of loveholidays’ design system, bridging design intent and front‑end implementation. You will help product teams ship faster and more consistently while the company expands its AI‑assisted development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Operationalise and co‑lead the design system’s evolution and governance.
• Build and maintain a robust component library using React and TypeScript.
• Define and enforce adoption standards across product teams.
• Collaborate with design and technology leaders to ensure visual and interactive consistency.
• Support the transition of the design system into an intelligence layer for AI‑driven development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in front‑end engineering and design‑system implementation.
• Strong collaboration skills with design and tech stakeholders.
• Ability to drive consistency and quality across large‑scale customer‑facing products.
