About the role

We are partnering with a specialist technology consultancy to expand its engineering team. As a Desk Developer you will work directly with traders and quants to create high‑impact front‑office applications that support trading, risk, and market analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable web solutions for real‑time trading environments.
• Replace manual spreadsheet processes with automated, data‑driven dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver technology that adds immediate business value.
• Maintain and enhance existing trading tools and platforms.

Required profile

• Experience in financial markets or other real‑time, high‑frequency environments.
• Strong enthusiasm for technology and continuous personal development.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, intellectually demanding setting.

Required skills

• Back‑end development with C#, C++ or Java.
• Modern front‑end development using TypeScript and React.
• Strong SQL knowledge and data‑modelling capabilities.
