Desk Subsidence Technician

About the role

Join our remote team to support the Subsidence division, handling claims from anywhere in the UK. You will develop specialist knowledge of subsidence insurance and ensure claims are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a detailed understanding of subsidence policies, cover terms and conditions.
• Conduct triage calls to validate claims and determine the need for site investigations.
• Prepare and submit reports within agreed service level agreements, maintaining high communication standards.
• Process claims in line with insurer guidelines, service levels and complaints procedures, proactively advancing each case.
• Review, amend and update claim information within the internal claims system.
• Adapt to changing client requirements and evolving business needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar claims or insurance role, including handling difficult conversations.
• Relevant certifications such as CII, CILA, BDMA are desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
