About the role
Adecco is recruiting on behalf of an educational client in Workington for a temporary Desktop Support Engineer role. The position covers both 1st and 2nd line support and runs for approximately six weeks, Monday‑Friday, 37 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver frontline services to customers and perform administrative duties within the Digital Services department.
- Maintain accurate manual and electronic records to meet funding body evidence requirements.
- Assist the Deputy Manager‑IT in delivering both frontline and administrative support.
- Monitor and produce reports on digital services and resources, ensuring compliance with procedures.
- Liaise with users, providing advice and guidance on Digital Literacy Skills to optimise use of college systems.
Required profile
- IT candidate available for a six‑week temporary assignment.
- Ability to work within a Digital Services department and liaise effectively with staff.
