About the role
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our client’s London‑based team, working remotely to provide first‑to‑third line support for Windows desktop environments. The role involves configuring, deploying and maintaining Windows 7/10 machines and supporting Microsoft Office 2013 for a growing user base.
Key responsibilities
- Configure, deploy and maintain Windows 7 and Windows 10 workstations.
- Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line help‑desk support for Microsoft Office 2013 and related applications.
- Identify and resolve Windows system and software issues, including printer setup and driver management.
- Proactively improve internal processes and suggest new technology solutions.
- Monitor customer sites for potential problems and recommend preventative actions.
Required profile
- Strong English communication and customer service skills.
- Self‑motivated, well‑organised and able to work independently.
- Experience delivering 1st‑3rd line IT support in a corporate environment.
- Good understanding of IP networking fundamentals.
Required skills
- Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktop administration.
- Microsoft Office 2013 support.
- IP networking configuration and troubleshooting.
- Printer installation, management and driver configuration.
