Detailer – Engineering Drafting

About the role

We are looking for a Detailer to join Metalcor Building Systems Inc. in London, ON. The role focuses on producing detailed engineering drawings and documentation for metal building projects, supporting our design and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs and detailed drawings using Tekla and other 3‑D graphic software.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine material and dimensional requirements.
• Develop design sketches, write technical reports and specifications, and assemble complete documentation packages.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers and production specialists to confirm product requirements.
• Maintain accurate drawing sets and ensure all documentation meets company standards.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or equivalent diploma (1‑2 year program) in a related field.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in drafting or detailing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tekla.
• Experience using MS Office.
• Familiarity with 3‑D graphic software.
