Development Delivery Director - South

About the role

SNG is seeking a senior Development Delivery Director to lead the delivery of a diverse regional development programme across the South region. Based at Sovereign House in Basingstoke, you will oversee joint ventures, greenfield and brownfield projects, regeneration initiatives and Section 106 obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a complex regional development portfolio, ensuring safety, risk, performance and quality standards.
• Build, mentor and manage a high‑performing delivery team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement robust programme governance, produce timely reports and drive proactive risk management.
• Collaborate with Land & New Business, Regeneration, Sales, Finance, Commercial and Operational teams to maintain pipeline visibility and address delivery issues.
• Ensure delivery aligns with cost, schedule, customer and quality targets while supporting the regional investment strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, complex development programmes with responsibility for time, cost, quality and risk outcomes.
• Strong financial literacy, capable of interpreting development funding models and managing commercial risk.
• Demonstrated inclusive leadership that creates a collaborative, accountable environment.
