Development Lead – London – £110k + Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a Development Lead to join a fast‑growing London‑based broker that is heavily investing in modern technology. The role combines hands‑on coding with technical leadership, guiding a team while shaping architecture and AI‑driven development practices. You will work on‑site at least three days a week in a hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and contribute code as part of a high‑performing development team.
• Define and execute the technical vision, architecture and roadmap across multiple platforms.
• Drive adoption of AI‑powered development tools such as prompt engineering, AI copilots and automation tooling.
• Design and implement solutions on Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce and MuleSoft integrations.
• Promote engineering excellence, best practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level software development experience, ready to step into a lead role.
• Strong passion for emerging technologies and AI‑enhanced development.
• Ability to balance hands‑on coding with strategic technical guidance.
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
