Development Producer – Originals (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

LADbible Group is seeking a Development Producer to join its Originals team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will create and develop shareable, long‑form content for YouTube, broadcast and podcast platforms across entertainment, sport and factual genres.

Key responsibilities

• Create original, repeatable format ideas for LADbible’s YouTube channels and pitch them to the Development Lead and channel teams.
• Manage the end‑to‑end production of pilot series, co‑producing shoots and edits alongside a Creative Producer.
• Develop topline concepts into fully‑fleshed formats, plan office run‑throughs and gameplay demos, and build compelling decks for stakeholder presentations.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to integrate brand partners and co‑develop new advertising‑friendly ideas.
• Use research and performance data to analyse format viability, identify slate gaps and inform new ideas.

Required profile

• Significant production experience with a proven track record of taking ideas from concept to delivery or commissioning.
• Deep knowledge of YouTube and social media trends, with the ability to generate repeatable formats that resonate with young audiences.
• Versatility to work across entertainment, sport and factual genres, including gameshows, podcasts, debate shows and documentaries.
• Strong visual sense for design, graphics, music and sound that set the tone for formats.
• Enterprising, independent mindset and ability to spot emerging trends.

Required skills

• Experience developing and scaling original content formats.
• Ability to create persuasive pitch decks and presentations.
• Understanding of how graphics, music and sound design influence format tone.
