About the role
The bank is seeking a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to help build and scale a critical platform used across the organisation. You will be instrumental in expanding the AWS environment while improving platform stability through modern technology and processes. The role is hybrid, based in London, and requires a security‑first mindset.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain core services on AWS.
- Build and scale Kubernetes clusters to support banking applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
- Enhance platform reliability and security by introducing best‑practice processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of AWS services.
- Hands‑on experience supporting Kubernetes environments.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Understanding of networking and security best practices.
- Ability to script, preferably in Python; experience in financial services is a plus.
