DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared) – Hybrid – London

About the role

We are seeking a Security‑Clearance (SC) DevOps Engineer to design and manage the deployment of an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution across our enterprise cloud estate. The role is based in London and operates on a hybrid model (2‑3 days onsite). You will work with Azure, Kubernetes and a range of observability tools to ensure reliable, automated delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the EDR tool across servers, Kubernetes clusters and containerised environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform.
• Monitor performance and incidents using Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk or Azure AIOps.
• Apply networking knowledge (DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls) to support cloud workloads.
• Drive SRE practices, automation and reliability improvements.

Required profile

• Active SC security clearance.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and its monitoring tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and services.
• Experience in SRE or DevOps roles, with a focus on automation.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and ITIL concepts is a plus.
