Diabetes Specialist Nurse (Freelance / Ad Hoc)

About the role

iQVIA is inviting experienced Diabetic Specialist Nurses to join its Healthcare Professionals Network for a series of ad hoc projects across the UK. The work is flexible, combining remote and face-to-face tasks, and suits nurses who want to supplement their current role or explore new challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diabetic care and education to patients in various settings
• Participate in health initiatives, clinics and patient engagement programmes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care
• Provide remote consultations and support via digital platforms where required

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
• Ideally an up-to-date DBS on the update service (not essential)
• Specialist training or experience in diabetes care
• Willingness to travel for face-to-face appointments
• Full UK driving licence and use of a car

Required skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments
