Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join Chapel House Motor Co Ltd, a well‑established motor retail group with 35 years’ experience and ten Northwest branches. The role offers a £2,000 joining bonus and a one‑week staff stay in Mallorca.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and electronic vehicle issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
• Complete vehicle health checks and provide accurate reports.
• Support other technicians with complex diagnostic problems.
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new vehicle technologies and training requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician.
• Relevant automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, IMI or equivalent).
• Level 3 or higher Electric Vehicle qualification – essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
