Diary Manager – Private Office to Minister

About the role
The Department for Work and Pensions is seeking a Diary Manager for the Private Office supporting the Minister. This senior administrative role ensures the Minister’s schedule runs smoothly and that all briefings and communications are timely and accurate.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the Minister, Private Office and senior stakeholders to resolve logistical issues.
- Manage the Minister’s diary, prioritising meetings, events and invitations.
- Oversee the Minister’s inbox, correspondence and Parliamentary Questions.
- Plan and arrange the Minister’s visits to DWP sites and external engagements, including travel and logistics.
- Collaborate with officials across the Department to ensure high‑quality briefings are prepared for Ministerial meetings.
Required profile
- Highly organised, resilient and flexible with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritise effectively in a fast‑moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and political awareness.
