Digital Change Programme Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Change Programme Manager to lead a large‑scale, multi‑year digital and business transformation for a public sector client. The role is remote with occasional travel to Bristol, London or Birmingham for key meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery across multiple workstreams, translating programme vision into structured delivery plans.
• Drive adoption of new ways of working and ensure the transformation remains business‑led.
• Manage governance, risk, planning and benefits realisation in partnership with senior stakeholders.
• Oversee financial management, budget oversight and resource allocation.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex transformation programmes spanning digital, data and business change.
• Strong background in programme governance, assurance, reporting and risk/issue/dependency management.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders in complex organisations.
• Experience with financial management, business case development and benefits realisation.
• Public sector or government experience is beneficial; familiarity with Government Project Delivery standards is a plus.
• MSP or APMQ qualification highly desirable.
