Digital Learning Designer Skills Coach

About the role

Join LDN Apprenticeships as a Digital Learning Designer Skills Coach, supporting apprentices on the Level 5 Digital Learning Designer programme. You’ll work mainly remotely with one day a month in our South London office, providing coaching, mentorship and guidance to help learners build successful careers in digital learning design.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a caseload of apprentices through the Level 5 programme, ensuring a high‑quality learning experience.
• Run regular progress reviews, keep employers informed, and produce clear progress reports.
• Design and facilitate engaging group training sessions, both live online and in‑person development days.
• Assess apprentice work, give timely constructive feedback, and intervene proactively when additional support is needed.
• Collaborate with other Skills Coaches to share best practice, standardise approaches and continuously improve the programme.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital learning design, with a solid understanding of academic or commercial projects.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex ideas clearly in one‑to‑one and group settings.
• Excellent relationship‑building abilities with apprentices, employers and internal teams.
• Highly organised, capable of managing a caseload, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Commitment to the values of a socially and environmentally responsible organisation.

Required skills

• Digital learning design expertise.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using Learner Management Systems.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
