Digital Marketing Manager – 12‑month Fixed‑Term (Hybrid)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position supports a well‑established North West business while covering maternity leave. Based in Chester with a hybrid schedule (two days onsite), you will take full ownership of the digital marketing mix across web and app, driving content, SEO, ASO, CRO and paid initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, produce and manage web, blog and organic content aligned with brand and SEO strategy.
• Develop and execute on‑page, technical and off‑page SEO tactics while monitoring emerging GEO and AEO trends.
• Support App Store Optimisation (ASO) efforts in partnership with an external agency.
• Coordinate external agencies and internal content resources to ensure timely, on‑brief delivery.
• Provide strategic direction for paid media to maintain consistency with organic and brand goals.
• Collaborate with product teams to identify and implement conversion rate optimisation (CRO) opportunities.
• Oversee the affiliate programme through an agency, aligning performance with commercial targets.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline content creation, SEO analysis and CRO workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a performance‑driven digital marketing environment.
• Proven ability to manage agencies and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience handling metrics such as CAC, CVR and LTV.
• Excellent multitasking skills and a hands‑on attitude.
