Digital Portfolio Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Portfolio Manager to lead a complex portfolio of digital, technology and business change initiatives for a London‑based client. The role is strategic, focusing on delivery, governance and realising business value across enterprise‑wide programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of digital and technology programmes aligned with organisational objectives.
• Develop and evolve portfolio management frameworks, governance structures and best practices.
• Oversee delivery performance, manage risks, dependencies and benefits realisation across multiple programmes.
• Provide leadership for Agile, DevOps and digital delivery initiatives.
• Support and supervise enterprise‑system programmes, including Oracle ERP implementations.
• Manage budgets and ensure value for money from technology investments.
• Engage senior stakeholders and deliver clear portfolio reporting and insights.
• Build and lead high‑performing multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale digital portfolios.
• Strong background in digital delivery within Agile environments.
• Expertise in portfolio governance, risk and dependency management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Familiarity with UK Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
• Desirable experience with Oracle ERP (Finance, HR or Procurement) and knowledge of corporate services such as Finance, HR and Commercial.
