Digital Sales Executive – Senior Sales Consultant

About the role

Our client, a well‑established digital marketing agency, is seeking a Senior Sales Consultant to join their commercial team in Darlington. You will be responsible for selling a portfolio of website and digital marketing solutions to small and medium‑sized businesses across the UK, using a consultative approach to match client needs with the right services.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive B2B prospecting via LinkedIn, email, video messaging and networking.
• Qualify leads, conduct detailed consultations and present tailored digital marketing proposals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation and close, meeting agreed KPIs.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in the CRM and collaborate with marketing on events and webinars.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with prospective and newly acquired clients.

Required profile

• 3+ years of B2B sales or consultative selling experience in the digital marketing sector.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing a healthy new‑business pipeline.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different decision‑makers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for managing prospects and opportunities.
• Effective use of LinkedIn and other digital platforms for lead generation.
• Experience creating and delivering video‑messaged outreach.

• Starting salary of £35,000 per year plus an uncapped commission structure (OTE £50‑£60k).
