Digital Trading Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Digital Trading Executive to join our head office in Plymouth. You will own sales and conversion targets across key product categories and use data‑driven tools to boost online performance.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for sales and conversion targets across several key product categories.
• Collaborate with Buying teams to understand product development and commercial opportunities.
• Utilise merchandising, search technology, analytics and BI tools to maximise visibility, conversion rates, cross‑selling and sales growth.
• Maintain accountability for e‑commerce KPIs such as online conversion rate and category bounce rates.
• Analyse data to uncover actionable insights that improve category performance.
• Ensure effective online merchandising on the transactional website while protecting the brand.
• Develop a deep understanding of online category statistics, product range and new product development.
• Coordinate campaign stocking with supply chain and logistics for seamless execution.
• Conduct competitor research to identify opportunities and optimise category structure, product sequencing, filters and taxonomy across desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Monitor seasonal trends, review competitor sites for pricing and promotions, and identify emerging trends and product gaps.

Required profile

• Background in e‑commerce, marketing or sales preferred but not essential.
• Analytical thinker confident using data tools.
• Proven track record of delivering targets and driving sales growth.
• Excellent communication skills and highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
