Dimensional Management Specialist

About the role

As a Dimensional Management Specialist (Lead Tolerancing Engineer) you will provide technical and functional leadership across structural and systems design, ensuring product solutions meet Design Authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and line‑manage a team of tolerancing engineers, recruiting, mentoring and developing talent while delivering innovative tolerancing solutions.
• Apply advanced tolerancing tools and 1D/3D stack‑up analysis to balance high performance with cost‑effective manufacturing from R&T to final assembly.
• Collaborate with Design, Stress, Aerodynamics, Manufacturing and Quality departments to define optimal, cost‑effective product solutions.
• Take functional responsibility for engineering projects, ensuring technical deliverables meet schedules, quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum BSc/BEng degree with at least 3 years of relevant management/project‑management experience (or 5 years with lesser qualification).
• Proven experience dealing with senior management, customers, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
• Ability to motivate and advise a team working on specialist engineering issues in a changing environment.

Required skills

• ISO Tolerances annotation.
• 1D/3D stack‑up analysis.
• MECAMASTER and 3DCS toolsets.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite structures.
• Computer‑Aided Design, preferably CATIA V5.
