Director, Investor Relations – German Speaking (DACH) – London

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global technology investment platform seeking a native German‑speaking Director of Investor Relations to lead fundraising across the DACH region from our London office. The role combines strategic investor engagement with hands‑on fundraising execution in a fast‑growing private‑markets environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and nurture new investor relationships across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
• Lead end‑to‑end fundraising processes for multiple fund vehicles and investment strategies.
• Represent the firm at investor meetings, industry conferences and other external events.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and internal teams to deliver a high‑quality investor experience throughout the fundraising lifecycle.
• Travel regularly across the DACH region to meet existing and prospective investors.

Required profile

• Native‑level German speaker with a proven track record of raising capital from DACH‑based investors.
• Experience in fundraising, capital formation, investor relations or business development within private markets (fund manager, placement agent or similar).
• Established network of institutional investors in the DACH private‑markets ecosystem.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and commercial acumen to originate new opportunities.
• Proactive, self‑directed approach and ability to thrive in a lean, fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Exposure to technology investing, venture capital or growth equity is advantageous but not essential.
