Director of Financial Reporting & Controls

About the role

This senior finance position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer of a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed international data‑centre developer. The Director will shape a best‑in‑class finance function, overseeing the period‑end close, financial reporting and control environment while driving transformation through automation and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial close and ensure high‑quality reporting excellence.
• Strengthen financial control, governance and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical accounting and audit leadership across the organisation.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, including automation, process optimisation and systems enhancement.
• Build and develop high‑performing finance teams and foster strategic business partnerships.

• Proven experience leading financial control, controllership, close and consolidation functions.
• Strong technical accounting expertise with extensive audit and financial reporting experience.
• Track record of enhancing financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
• Experience delivering finance transformation, automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to build, develop and retain high‑performing teams.
