Director of Health Economics (Remote, UK/EU)

About the role

We are a growing boutique HEOR & Market Access consultancy seeking a Director‑level Health Economist to lead high‑impact global projects. This strategic, client‑facing role combines end‑to‑end project ownership, hands‑on modelling expertise, and team leadership within a lean, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex HEOR projects, including cost‑effectiveness and budget impact models.
• Drive HTA submissions and global value‑demonstration strategies, such as NICE assessments.
• Manage senior pharma and biotech client relationships.
• Oversee projects from inception to delivery while remaining technically hands‑on.
• Line‑manage and mentor consultants within a collaborative specialist team.
• Contribute to business development, proposal writing, and practice growth.
• Progress toward partnership within the firm.

Required profile

• Strong HEOR and health‑economic modelling experience in consultancy or industry.
• Proven track record delivering HTA submissions and payer‑evidence strategies.
• Experience leading client engagements and managing senior stakeholders.
• Previous line‑management and project‑leadership experience.
• Commercial mindset with exposure to business‑development activities.
