Director of IT Transformation – Consulting

About the role

Interpath Advisory is expanding its Value Creation practice and is looking for a Director of IT Transformation to help build a new Digital Transformation team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead high‑impact engagements for regulated and non‑regulated clients across multiple industries and geographies, supporting technology‑enabled change, M&A and operating model redesign.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create and grow the Digital Transformation practice alongside senior leadership.
• Lead end‑to‑end digital transformation programmes, managing scope, budget and timelines.
• Act as the primary liaison between technology and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable business recommendations.
• Deliver strategic planning, technology strategy, operating model design, application and enterprise architecture, and technology due diligence.
• Oversee carve‑outs, integrations, data migrations, and infrastructure transformations across on‑premises, hybrid and cloud environments.
• Drive data architecture, analytics, AI‑enabled solutions, cybersecurity, operational resilience and IT risk initiatives.
• Develop client proposals, pitch materials and support business development activities.
• Facilitate steering committees, executive workshops and Board‑level presentations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary technology programmes in consulting or advisory environments.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage delivery and commercial risk.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior business and technology leaders.
• Track record of building or scaling advisory practices is a plus.
