Director of Landscape Architecture

About the role

A high-performing UK consultancy expanding rapidly across planning, design and environmental services is looking for a Director of Landscape Architecture based in Manchester. The landscape team gives specialist input from site appraisal through to public inquiry, covering LVIA, landscape planning and detailed site analysis. The Director will lead a high-performing team, grow the business in the North West and deliver high-value consultancy, with a visible leadership platform that reaches into regional operations and national strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Take charge of a high-performing landscape team and grow the business in the North West
• Play an active role in strategic business planning, client development and team leadership
• Oversee the delivery of landscape projects with a focus on LVIA, landscape planning and design advisory services
• Influence regional operations and national strategy as part of the senior management team

Required profile

• Chartered Landscape Architect with a proven track record of delivering major landscape planning projects
• Strong leadership background, able to inspire and mentor teams and take ownership of performance and growth
• Commercially astute, confident in business development, client engagement and strategic planning
• Looking for a role that shapes the direction of a growing business while staying hands-on with high-profile projects
