Director of Project Management

About the role

An established consultancy is seeking a commercially focused Director of Project Management to lead its expansion into England, with Bristol identified as a key growth hub. This senior position offers the chance to build a regional presence, win new work and create a high‑performing project‑management team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the consultancy’s expansion in Bristol, focusing on business development and client acquisition.
• Convert existing contacts into new project‑management assignments across residential, commercial, hotel and mixed‑use developments.
• Recruit, mentor and grow a local project‑management team to support regional growth.
• Shape regional strategy, target client segments and future recruitment in close collaboration with senior leadership.

Required profile

• Extensive network and strong relationships within the Bristol and South West property market.
• Proven track record of winning project‑management consultancy work.
• Director‑level or senior leadership experience in project management.
• Experience delivering residential, commercial, hotel or mixed‑use projects.
• Background in leading, recruiting and developing high‑performing teams.
• Relevant degree in construction, project management or property and a professional qualification such as MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB.
• Excellent commercial acumen and client‑facing abilities.
