Director of Self Serve

About the role

Paddle is looking for a Director of Self‑Serve to own and scale its self‑serve motion as a distinct business line. You will be responsible for the full commercial P&L, from acquisition through adoption, revenue and net retention, driving growth while maintaining profitable unit economics.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end commercial number for self‑serve, setting strategy, pricing and packaging.
• Define and optimise the activation and time‑to‑value experience, treating the self‑serve journey as a product.
• Shape demand by defining the ideal customer profile and collaborating with demand generation on targeting.
• Orchestrate cross‑functional execution with Finance, Product, Engineering, Partnerships and RevOps.
• Deepen partner integrations to turn distribution relationships into revenue‑generating channels.

Required profile

• Deep experience in a product‑led growth or self‑serve motion at a high‑growth tech company, accountable for revenue.
• Commercial operator with a founder‑mode mindset, comfortable with unit economics and data‑driven decision making.
• Product‑manager thinking: prioritise ruthlessly, run experiments, and bridge growth with product.
• Proven cross‑functional leader who can bring structure to multi‑team programmes and influence roadmaps.
