Director of Strategy and Performance

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Director of Strategy and Performance to join the senior leadership team and report directly to the CEO. The role sits at a senior level, comparable to a Vice‑Principal or Chief of Staff, and is responsible for bringing structure, clarity and alignment to strategic planning, organisational performance and executive operations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive implementation and delivery of the organisation’s strategic priorities.
• Translate the Strategic Plan into clear, measurable objectives and actions.
• Develop robust performance frameworks that provide transparency on progress, risks and outcomes.
• Strengthen the use of KPIs and performance data to support evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Shape and enhance the effectiveness of Executive Team operations.
• Keep Executive Team discussions focused on strategic issues and priorities.
• Foster a joined‑up, accountable and collaborative approach across the senior leadership team.
• Lead strategic planning processes and draft the next Strategic Plan.
• Provide high‑level strategic advice and support to the CEO and Executive Team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior strategic leadership role such as Chief of Staff, Director of Strategy, Director of Performance and Planning or equivalent.
• Track record of supporting CEOs and executive teams in delivering organisational strategy.
• Significant experience driving performance, governance and strategic planning within a complex organisation.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes and organisational priorities.
