Director of Studies – Education Leadership

About the role

Kaplan Languages Group is seeking a Director of Studies to lead its teaching team in Liverpool. You will be responsible for upholding the high standards of English language instruction and ensuring optimal teacher‑student ratios across the school.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the teaching staff, fostering professional development and performance improvement.
• Oversee induction programmes for new teachers and students.
• Maintain and enhance teaching quality, learner autonomy, and student satisfaction.
• Manage teacher recruitment, ensuring safe hiring practices and high‑calibre staff.
• Handle a high volume of queries efficiently and implement effective solutions.
• Drive change initiatives and continuous improvement across the learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• TEFLQ status (e.g., DELTA or equivalent).
• Proven ability to resolve queries quickly and efficiently.
• Experience in safe recruitment and staff performance management.
• Strong problem‑solving and change‑management capabilities.
