Director, Solutions Engineer – EMEA

About the role

The Director of Solutions Engineering, EMEA leads Saviynt’s revenue organization across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This senior leader partners with sales and product teams to drive growth, shape go‑to‑market strategy and deliver high‑impact customer engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Build, develop and scale the Solutions Engineering & Strategy team across EMEA.
• Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, leading discovery workshops and translating findings into solution designs and deployment approaches.
• Create and deliver internal and external content such as solution briefs, white papers, webinars and web pages.
• Collaborate with product management on RFP responses, field feedback and competitive intelligence.
• Partner with sales leadership to prioritize and close key regional opportunities and ensure smooth hand‑off to delivery teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of solutions engineering management experience in Cloud Security, Privileged Access Management, Application GRC or Identity Governance.
• Fluent English; additional European languages a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 60% domestically with occasional international travel.
• Strong technical aptitude, excellent communication and public‑speaking skills.

Required skills

• Domain expertise in Privilege Access Management, Identity Governance & Administration, Application GRC, Cloud Security.
• Technical certifications such as ISACA, (ISC)², AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Security Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with MySQL, Elastic Search, REST API, PowerShell, GraphAPI.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards: SAML, OAuth/2, SCIM, OpenID, WS‑Trust, SPNEGO, x.509, Kerberos, JSON.
• Familiarity with AzureAD, Okta, JumpCloud, OneLogin, PingDirectory, Active Directory, eDirectory, Oracle Internet Directory, Radiant Logic.
• Understanding of networking basics (HTTP, TCP/IP, firewalls, encryption) and data‑governance/compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, SOX, NIST, PCI, etc.).
