Dispatch Operative – Warehouse Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Dispatch Operative to join our busy Portsmouth warehouse. You will ensure every customer order is accurately packed, labelled and ready for timely delivery, working closely with the wider warehouse team.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch
• Check products and delivery details before dispatch
• Label orders accurately and organise them for collection
• Coordinate with courier and transport providers
• Receive incoming deliveries and store stock correctly
• Update stock records and assist with stock checks
• Move products safely around the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, tidy and well‑organised dispatch area
• Support the team with general warehouse duties and follow safe handling procedures

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a positive, reliable attitude
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Required skills

• Basic computer skills
• Forklift licence or experience operating warehouse equipment
