About the role

Join our Basingstoke store as a Dispensing Optician, delivering high‑quality eye‑care services in a modern facility with 11 test rooms across two floors. You will support customers throughout their optical journey, from prescription verification to final product fitting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dispensing services, fitting spectacles and contact lenses according to prescriptions.
• Maintain and calibrate optical equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and advice on product choices.
• Ensure compliance with GOC regulations and store policies.
• Collaborate with the optical team to meet sales and service targets.

Required profile

• Qualified and GOC‑registered Dispensing Optician.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for community‑focused care.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to varied working patterns.
