Dispensing Optician – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Dispensing Optician to join our modern Specsavers store in Fareham. Whether you are newly qualified or have experience, you will help customers with eye and hearing care, providing professional advice and fitting spectacles, contact lenses and hearing aids.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations and assess prescriptions.
• Fit and dispense spectacles, contact lenses and hearing aids.
• Provide product advice and recommend appropriate eyewear solutions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update optical systems.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the visit.

Required profile

• Qualified Dispensing Optician with relevant certification.
• Previous dispensing experience is essential.
• Friendly, passionate and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends.

Required skills

• Optical dispensing techniques.
• Use of optical dispensing software.
