About the role

We are partnering with a highly respected independent practice in Clapham to hire a Senior Dispensing Optician. The role goes beyond simply fitting spectacles – you will create personalised experiences, guide patients through frame selection and provide expert optical advice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert dispensing advice for adult and child patients.
• Conduct personalised frame‑styling consultations and recommend bespoke eyewear, lenses and optical solutions.
• Build genuine relationships with patients, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
• Support collections, adjustments and after‑care services.
• Take ownership of daily tasks to ensure smooth practice operations.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance the patient experience.
• Support colleagues and foster a positive team culture.
