About the role

We are seeking a qualified Dispensing Optician to lead our store team in Hexham, delivering exceptional eye‑care services and ensuring a welcoming environment for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver best patient care within the store.
• Create a warm, friendly atmosphere for customers.
• Maintain an outstanding store environment and support the team.
• Oversee daily dispensing operations and manage inventory of frames and lenses.
• Ensure compliance with optical standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with optometrists to optimise patient pathways.

Required profile

• BSc (HONS) in Ophthalmic Dispensing.
• Excellent understanding of optics and audiology journeys.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Passionate people‑person and effective team worker.
