About the role

Zest Optical is seeking a Dispensing Optician Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of its well‑established independent practice in Harlow. This full‑time position blends hands‑on dispensing work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑focused eye care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily practice operations, including rotas, workflows and overall organisation.
• Lead, support and develop the dispensing and support team.
• Provide expert dispensing services and supervise the complete patient journey.
• Maintain professional and customer‑care standards at all times.
• Act as a primary point of contact for patients and colleagues.
• Support commercial performance while keeping patient care central.

Required profile

• GOC‑registered Dispensing Optician.
• Experience in a senior or management role, or readiness to step up.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
• Organised, confident and approachable demeanor.
