Dispensing Optician – North Shields

About the role

As a qualified Dispensing Optician at Specsavers in North Shields, you will use your expertise in optics and audiology to provide high‑quality eye‑care services and support the growth of our team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with dispensing spectacles and contact lenses.
• Collaborate closely with another Dispensing Optician to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Support the development of an Optical Assistant aspiring to become a Dispensing Optician.
• Maintain up‑to‑date clinical technology and equipment in the store.

Required profile

• BSc (Hons) in Ophthalmic Dispensing.
• Strong understanding of optics and audiology journeys.
• Excellent listening and communication abilities.
• Passionate, people‑oriented team player.

Required skills

• Optics knowledge.
• Audiology knowledge.
