Disrepair Surveyor – Hybrid (North London)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to join one of the largest housing associations in North London. The role is hybrid, allowing you to split your time between office work and on‑site inspections while delivering high‑quality property assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to identify disrepair and assess required maintenance.
• Prepare detailed reports, cost estimates and repair timelines.
• Liaise with contractors, oversee repair works and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Engage with tenants to address concerns and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritising tasks based on urgency.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings and actions taken.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Disrepair Surveyor, preferably within the housing sector.
• Strong knowledge of building construction, materials and relevant legal regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with tenants and contractors.
