Distribution Stores Operative

About the role

The Distribution Stores Operative will ensure orders are accurately picked, packed and ready for dispatch according to the daily schedule. This full‑time temporary position runs until 31 January 2027 and supports both the store and export functions.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack stock accurately following daily schedules.
• Complete all required documentation for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and hazard‑free work area.
• Support the export department and local distribution drivers as needed.
• Follow company policies, health & safety and regulatory procedures.
• Provide basic product knowledge to assist customers when required.

Required profile

• Quick learner with experience in new procedures.
• Proven ability to pick orders accurately and work to an order schedule.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Pride in keeping the work area organised and tidy.
• Holds a full, enhanced driving licence.
