Document Controller – Luxury Contractor (London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a luxury contractor delivering high‑profile construction projects across London. The role involves managing all project documentation throughout the lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely distribution to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all project documentation using Asite, maintaining accurate records of drawings, specifications, RFIs and correspondence.
• Control receipt, classification, distribution and filing of project documents, ensuring they are uploaded and reviewed according to procedures.
• Monitor document revisions, maintain detailed revision histories and produce regular control reports for stakeholders.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and clients regarding documentation requirements and archive files upon project completion.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of Asite (essential) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
