Domestic Abuse Caseworker (Standard Risk)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Abuse Caseworker to provide high‑quality, trauma‑informed support to survivors assessed as standard risk. You will work directly with women and children, helping them improve safety, wellbeing, and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver intensive 1:1 support to standard‑risk survivors of domestic abuse.
• Manage a caseload, complete risk assessments and develop personalised safety plans.
• Provide practical advocacy around housing, benefits, legal options and referrals to specialist agencies.
• Collaborate with statutory and voluntary partners, including safeguarding services.
• Support clients through court processes and protective interventions where required.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
• Promote independence, resilience and positive outcomes for survivors and their families.

Required profile

• Previous experience working directly with domestic‑abuse survivors.
• Strong understanding of domestic abuse dynamics, safeguarding, risk management and trauma‑informed practice.
• Experience managing a caseload and providing advocacy support.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with partner agencies.

• £15.90 per hour, 37.5 hours per week (including occasional evening work).
