Domestic Assistant – Flexible Zero‑Hours (Care Home)

About the role
As a Domestic Assistant at Queens View Harbour Care Home, you will help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for up to 56 residents. Your work directly supports the wellbeing, dignity and comfort of both residents and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
- Assist with laundry services, ensuring personal belongings are handled and returned correctly.
- Follow infection‑control, health‑and‑safety and cleaning procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team to maintain a respectful and comfortable setting.
Required profile
- Positive, reliable attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial; previous experience welcomed but not essential.

- £12.71 per hour on a flexible zero‑hours contract.
- Paid PVG, pension contribution and uniform provided.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full‑time hours).
