Domestic Bursar

About the role

Green Templeton College, a graduate college of the University of Oxford, is seeking a Domestic Bursar to lead its operational services. Reporting to the Bursar and working closely with senior college leadership, you will shape the delivery of catering, accommodation, lodge and events during a period of major renovation and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the catering, accommodation, lodge and events teams.
• Oversee operational risk, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Support the college through ongoing building projects and a transformational masterplan.
• Develop and manage complex budgets for all domestic services.
• Collaborate with the Principal and Executive Management Group on strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in strategic and operational roles.
• Outstanding communication skills with a strong service ethos.
• Analytical judgement and the ability to lead empathetically.
• Proven experience managing complex budgets.
