Domestic Cleaner

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Domestic Cleaner to join a team supporting residential homes, day‑care centres and hostels that care for the elderly, people with disabilities and long‑term medical conditions. You will help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean communal areas, resident bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
• Carry cleaning supplies up and down stairs as required.
• Perform laundry duties and general housekeeping tasks.
• Support the team in delivering a hygienic environment for vulnerable residents.

Required profile

• Positive, polite and good communicator.
• Physically fit enough to handle cleaning supplies and stairs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a dedicated team.
• Respectful of vulnerable people and willing to undertake training.
• Available to work 40 hours per week; not eligible for student visa holders.
