Domestic Major Loss Adjuster

About the role

Join a leading major insurer as a Domestic Major Loss Adjuster, managing a portfolio of high‑value and complex domestic claims across Hampshire and Sussex. Working remotely, you will be part of the Property and High Net‑Worth (HNW) team, delivering a bespoke, hands‑on service from claim inception to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of domestic losses exceeding £100,000, ensuring accurate assessment and timely settlement.
• Provide a personalised service to clients, coordinating with contractors, legal teams and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the full claim lifecycle, from initial investigation through to final payment.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation in line with insurer policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling domestic and HNW losses over £100,000.
• Strong knowledge of technical, building and legal principles relevant to property insurance.
• Minimum CertCII qualification with ambition to progress further.
• Track record of managing high‑value, complex cases successfully.
