Domestic Services Supervisor – Part‑time (Tue/Wed mornings)

About the role

This part‑time position is responsible for the day‑to‑day organisation of Domestic Services within designated areas of the Lothian University Hospitals Division. Working on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, the role ensures a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise domestic service activities across assigned hospital zones.
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements in line with Quality Improvement recommendations.
• Manage resources and maintain service delivery within allocated budgetary limits.
• Ensure compliance with NHS Scotland policies, equality and diversity standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain a valid PVG Scheme membership or obtain one before commencing duties.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

• Availability for the specified part‑time hours (Tuesday/Wednesday mornings).
• Willingness to undergo PVG Scheme checks if not already a member.
