Domestic Violence Supported Housing Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Supported Housing Manager to lead a new dispersed safe accommodation service for adult victims and survivors of domestic abuse and their children where applicable. This senior position will shape a trauma‑informed service that delivers safe housing, intensive specialist support, and proactive move‑on assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a specialist team, fostering a psychologically safe and reflective culture.
• Oversee complex, high‑risk domestic abuse and safeguarding cases, ensuring high‑quality DASH assessments, safety plans and case records.
• Manage referrals, assessments, eligibility, placements, vacancies, waiting lists and occupancy.
• Develop strong partnerships with local authorities, police, MARAC, health, housing and voluntary organisations.
• Ensure every household has a clear move‑on plan and oversee housing management, rent arrears, property compliance and health & safety.
• Lead contract performance, KPIs, audits, quality assurance, service reporting and continuous improvement.
• Participate in an out‑of‑hours on‑call rota and respond to serious incidents and emergencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and developing teams in supported housing, domestic abuse or comparable complex‑need services.
• Strong knowledge of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, coercive control, DASH risk assessments, MARAC processes and safeguarding of adults and children.
• Experience embedding trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, person‑centred approaches.
• Ability to produce high‑quality reports, manage budgets and ensure value for money.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work across dispersed accommodation.
