Domestic Violence Team Manager

About the role
The Domestic Violence Team Manager will lead the Domestic Abuse Safety Hub in Barnet, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and ensuring a survivor‑centred, trauma‑informed service. You will manage a multidisciplinary team of Independent Domestic Violence Advocates and support staff, delivering high‑quality interventions and meeting contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead delivery of an inclusive, culturally responsive domestic abuse service.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, safeguarding and organisational policies.
- Monitor performance, outcomes and produce regular reports for commissioners.
- Provide leadership, supervision, coaching and support to the team.
- Facilitate team meetings, case discussions and quality assurance activities.
- Manage case management systems and track performance against targets.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with police, health, housing, children’s services and voluntary organisations.
- Represent the service at multi‑agency forums such as Domestic Abuse MARAC.
Required profile
- Significant experience supporting vulnerable individuals, especially those affected by domestic abuse.
- Proven experience managing or delivering advocacy and support services.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, contractual compliance and trauma‑informed practice.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.
