Domiciliary Optical Assistant – Home Visits

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Domiciliary Optical Assistant to join Specsavers’ Home Visits team, delivering eye‑care services directly to customers in their homes and care homes across selected London postcodes.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out optical clinics and deliver glasses to patients at home.
• Set up and transport optical equipment to each appointment.
• Provide a professional, friendly service and support the clinical team.
• Work independently, managing your schedule Monday‑Friday, 9am‑6pm with flexibility.

Required profile

• Full clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Based within NW2, NW4, NW7, NW9, HA0, HA3, HA7, HA8 or HA9.
• Physically able to carry equipment multiple times per day.
• Excellent people skills and a confident, customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Previous experience in an optical environment (dispensing, measuring and fitting) – desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing role.
• Comfortable using tablets, laptops and new optical systems.
